Cryptocurrency comes in all shapes and sizes. With MyAdvocate, you can address crypto in your estate plan in the following ways:
- You can leave your crypto to particular beneficiaries in the Specific Distribution section by selecting "all cryptocurrency I own at the time of my death" and describing the locations where you store your crypto.
- You can leave an entire crypto account to particular beneficiaries by selecting "entire online account or exchange" in the Specific Distribution section and describing the online exchange, account, or wallet.
- You can leave all your cryptocurrency to the beneficiaries of the remainder of your estate by not specifically referencing your crypto in your estate plan and making sure your executor or trustee knows where to find your crypto and keys.
