Generally, a trust protector is someone who is responsible for overseeing your trustee. Because trust protectors are not authorized in some states and because you should name a trustee who you trust to do what's in the beneficiaries' best interests without requiring oversight, MyAdvocate does not have an option to name a trust protector.
If your trustee "goes rogue," your beneficiaries may petition a court to replace the trustee and punish them for any inappropriate behavior.
